Happy New Year!

I hope 2023 finds you well-rested and ready to take on all the possibilities this year offers. 2022 (like every year) seemed to fly by at the speed of light, often leaving unfinished things (projects, relationships, etc.) that can hold us back from our mission. Could this unfinished business stay just that - unfinished? Now is the time for self-introspection and to decide if this is your year to move forward.

A common pitfall is holding on to the past with the belief that "doing things the way they have always been done around here" is the only alternative that presents itself to us. Nothing could be further from the truth. If we hold space for ourselves in the stillness of the moment, we may find that the old way of doing things no longer serves us well.

Begin this endeavor by sorting through unrealized projects and professional and personal relationships and decide what is worth carrying into the new year or left at the doorstep of December 31st, 2022. Seek the counsel of a trusted mentor to be your sounding board. However, only you can determine what is best for your mental wellness and quality of life. A question to ask yourself "Is 2023 my year to move forward?" As food for thought, I leave you with the words of author Daphne Rose Kingma -

"Holding on is believing that there's only a past; letting go is knowing that there's a future."

Until next time-

Namaste,

Tim
